mà lòng con cứ trông ngóng không thôi.

Con bước chân đi qua từng tháng ngày,
dặn lòng trung tín chẳng chút băn khoăn.
Tuy Chúa bên con đêm ngày dắt dìu,
mà lòng xao xuyến, mong chờ Chúa thôi.

Lòng luôn thầm mong Jesus quay lại,
đem con xa nơi dương trần,
vào nơi thái an, đời luôn thỏa vui,
sẽ mãi luôn bên Ngài thôi.

Ôi, Chúa Jesus, con quỳ trước Ngài,
trình dâng lên Chúa ước muốn trong tim:
Xin hãy đem con xa lìa thế trần,
để được bên Chúa, muôn đời thỏa vui.

Please Take Me Away from This World

The months and years go by, yet my spiritual journey continues.
My heart longs and remembers the Lord Jesus.
Though the Lord is with me in every path of life,
my heart still keeps yearning without cease.

I walk through each passing day,
reminding myself to be faithful without doubt.
Though the Lord is beside me, guiding day and night,
my heart is still stirred, longing only for the Lord.

My heart always silently hopes the Lord Jesus will return,
to take me away from this earthly world,
into a peaceful place, where life is ever joyful,
and I shall forever be with Him.

Oh, Lord Jesus, I kneel before You,
presenting to You the desire within my heart:
Please take me away from this world,
to be with You forever in eternal joy.

Years drift like autumn leaves,
yet my soul still seeks its home.
Each dawn whispers Your name,
Jesus— a longing that will not sleep.

You walk beside me through the hours,
faithful as the turning stars,
yet something in me reaches higher,
restless for a distant shore.

I tell myself: Be steady. Trust.
Your presence lights my every step.
Still this heart beats with a question,
a prayer that has no end.

One hope lives quiet in my chest—
that You will come and lead me through
the veil between this world and rest,
to joy that never fades,
to peace that knows no dusk.

So here I kneel, Lord Jesus,
with open hands and trembling voice:
Lift me from this passing place.
Take me home to You.
